This is something I wanted to try for a long time already. I finally shot a test roll of ADOX Scala 160 and developed it with a reversal kit from Klaus Wehner. Despite a lot of exposure errors I really like how it turned out! In this video, I’m showing the development process, photos and talk about other black and white reversal kits on the market.
The process takes about an hour but not complex at all. It’s just long and a lot of agitation. The second exposure isn’t that scary as it sounds as well. So I really encourage you to try. Basically, all three kits are pretty much the same in the way you handle it. There were rumors, that Rollei Kit will require one more chemical bath instead of the second exposure, but that didn’t happen.
